‘Ruqaiya’ is the name of my husband’s maternal grandmother. In the family, she is known as ‘Amma’ (meaning mother). My husband was very attached to her and misses her immensely. But unfortunately I never got to meet her. She passed away a couple of years prior to our wedding.  I hear she was a very special woman. She was loving as well as loved by all.
